Yanoman’s 1993 Japan-only Super Famicom action RPG, fully playable in English: all three hero scenarios, every cutscene, shop and menu. Trinea DX v1.1 adds less slowdown, rumble, a Select controls overlay, and optional turbo and hero speed toggles.

Easy Mode Was Harder
A hidden Configuration menu in Trinea (Yanoman, 1993, Super Famicom) sets the play level, but the difficulty check is backwards: for 25+ years, Easy halved your damage and made the game harder. Fixed in Trinea DX.

The Bottomless Bottle
A previously undocumented hang in stock Dr. Mario (NES, 1990): the vertical match scan has no bottom-of-bottle check. Found on FPGA silicon during an AI soak test, byte-verified against the retail ROM, and fixed in 3 bytes.

Struktured Labs is a small, independent software studio. Most of the current work is on classic Nintendo hardware: full-colour Game Boy Color conversions of Game Boy games (Penta Dragon DX, Ultima: Runes of Virtue DX), an English translation of the Japan-only Super Famicom action RPG Trinea, the Game Boy Color homebrew roguelike Quintra, and a Dr. Mario AI that plays on FPGA hardware. ROM hacks ship as patches, never ROMs.
Alongside that: functional programming in OCaml for trading and market-data systems, MCP tooling for emulators, game engines, and streaming, and the agent infrastructure that runs our test benches.
